Embassy Day and a wonderful visit with Nana!

Okay...today was Embassy Day and I envisioned a beautiful room full of plush furniture and toys galore...reality check...it was like the Social Security Office...except with more crying! :- )

Considering the 3 hours UTTER CHAOS...sweet girl did well. She ran and I chased some...she napped and I rocked some...she pooped and HOLY MACKEREL...I let Nana Janeth change her!!!!

Then we came back to the hotel and visited with Nana and had such a good time! And, Nana got her to sleep! God bless you Nana! Mommy and Grammie got some much needed rest as she only slept 2 hours last night!

Okay, she is asleep now, so I have to go to bed too!

Oh don't worry Beth! You will have plenty of those poopy diapers when you all get home!

I am praying for your family and for a smooth transition for all of you! God is good.

I can't wait to show this to Nick.

aahh yes, that wonderful embassy wait. i did it with 4 kids under 7, and it was a long 3 hours. But now that is a faded memory, and what remains is the glorious fact that she got her visa and came home with us. many congrats to you, and have a safe trip home.

Ahh how I remember Embassy Day....a small crowded room with LOTS of people, crying babies and not enough chairs! Thinking back, I was a little disappointed, after all of the months waiting for such a really no hoopla day. You will all be home very shortly. Praying for a safe trip back.
